Do you believe in numerology?
Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about time, and how certain phases of our life follow a numerical cadence. 29 emotionally and symbolically marked the end of a decade, with the number 9 prompting reflection, change, and closure. 30 was ground zero — a year of growing pains, newly navigating a long-held sense of imposter syndrome that held me back from leveling up in the next phase of my life and career. It involved confronting the thoughts, behaviors, and processes that no longer serve me. There’s an expression “What got you here won’t get you there”, and these moments of rift are a reminder of how the process of growth is not always linear.
When I look up the numerical meaning of 31, it feels exactly apt for this moment in life:
3 — represents curiosity, creativity, and communication.
1 — represents novelty, movement, and the future possibilities ahead. 1 is the number of creation and the birth of all things.
Coincidentally, this personal evolution happened to align with the end of an eclipse season that ended on my birthday. Eclipses are said to highlight what needs attention and change in our lives, and this specific Lunar eclipse in Taurus completed a 3-year cycle that’s shifted away from toxic relationships, embraced shadow elements, and emerged with new perspectives and a stronger sense of self. It marks the beginning of rising from a period of darkness. It’s a season of change — physically and metaphorically speaking.
And with that, I leave you with my most woo-woo newsletter to date. As you can tell I’m feeling an activation of power and clarity that comes with “Scorpio Szn”, the fully charged moon, and the witchiness of the esoteric…or maybe perhaps this is an SOS that I need to get out of LA.
Happy 31st.
Love a good woo woo newsletter! 🫶🏼
