Catching up on tan lines and tannins

After a dense design week in New York, a honey moon in Sayulita, and a family-filled week celebrating my sister’s wedding in Santa Barbara, I’m back for a briefing, right on time (and in the mood) for summer.

Jacquemus opened his first LA storefront on Melrose — a chic new space designed in the style of a Provençal farm house. The opening party was banana-themed and a blast.

Mail day from my favorite heritage house. The new ‘Pour Les Mains’ collection by Hermès Beauty has landed in three perfect shades — a sheer lilac, coral orange and a light sea blue.

TASTING NOTES

As the weather warms, I’m gravitating to pours of white wines with mineral finishes, floral and fruity rosés, and chilled light reds with round, soft tannins.
